Our Swim Team
Noalani
Noalani "Noa" has been swimming on swim team for 3 years. Noa swims on Bronze Otter level for Otter Swim Team (OST). She her favorite stroke is butterfly. She loves to talk about "that time at swim practice" that she swam a "broken" 500 butterfly. Noa holds meet records at many local swim meets. This past swim season she had qualifying times for Jr Championships (formerly known as Jr Olympics). She loved this exprience and cannot wait to go back in 2025. Noa's favorite color is purple. Her favorite activity outside of swimming is camping!
Toby-Jo
Toby-Jo is a seasoned high school swimmer who has been competing since the age of 6. His specialty is the 200-yard individual medley, and he relishes the challenge of distance training during workouts. When not in the pool, Toby-Jo can often be found pursuing his other passions, such as hiking, biking, camping, gaming, or brainstorming his next entrepreneurial venture. His diverse interests are matched by an eclectic taste in food, with pizza and sushi among his favorites. His colors are red, black, and white. His favorite movies is Wallace & Grommet.
Talya
Talya is one of the senior swimmers on our competitive team. She has been honing her skills in the pool since the age of 8, developing a particular affinity for the graceful and challenging butterfly stroke. Talya's swimming prowess shines brightest in the 50-meter sprint events, where she can showcase her speed and power.
Outside of the pool, Talya enjoys nature, art and weight training.
Talya is a homeschooled student, diligently working to complete her junior and senior years of high school. Ever the driven and ambitious young woman, she has also begun laying the groundwork for her future career path as a home-birth midwife.
Talya’s favorite colors are green, sage, and cream white. Her favorite film is "A Walk to Remember."
Overall, Talya is a multifaceted and accomplished athlete, student, and aspiring professional, whose passion and determination are an inspiration to all who know her.
Cooper
Cooper’s favorite stroke to swim is the backstroke. When he's not swimming, Cooper enjoys spending time at the "Happiest Place on Earth" - Disney World. He also has a creative side, spending time drawing and sketching. Cooper loves playing video games, especially Mario Kart. Additionally, he stays active by playing freeze tag with his friends. Cooper's favorite food is tacos. His favorite color is green.
Rocco
Rocco has been swimming with Tarin since he was in diapers and hasn't looked back since! His favorite stroke is the butterfly, and he loves the challenge and speed it brings. When he's not swimming, Rocco is passionate about animals, learning ninja moves, dancing, and diving into his favorite video games like Minecraft and Roblox. He has a sweet tooth for candy and can never resist a good treat! Rocco’s favorite movie is Sonic the Hedgehog, and his favorite color is yellow—bright and full of energy, just like him!
Mattea
Mattea is a second-grade student at Middle Township Elementary. She has a passion for learning and creativity, enjoying activities like reading books, building with Legos, and crocheting. But one of her greatest joys is swimming.
Living close to the water and spending a lot of time at the beach, Mattea was determined to learn how to swim. Now, she proudly swims as a member of the Otter Swim Team, where she continues to grow her skills and confidence in the pool. Her favorite stroke is the backstroke, which allows her to glide effortlessly through the water.
When she’s not swimming, Mattea loves riding her bike and exploring new places. She also has a taste for adventure in the kitchen—her favorite food is spicy ramen soup. When it’s time to unwind, she enjoys watching Moana, a movie that reflects her love for the ocean and exploration.
With her enthusiasm, determination, and love for the water, Mattea is always ready for her next big splash, whether it’s at the pool or the beach!
Damien
Damien is a kid who loves a mix of fun activities. He's great at backstroke swimming, and his favorite foods are sushi and ramen. He's a big Harry Potter fan, loves the color green, and listens to Kid Laroi. He also has a blast playing Gorilla Tag in virtual reality.
Jaylee
Jaylee is an energetic girl who loves the water! Her favorite swim stroke is freestyle. Outside of the pool, Jaylee is always on the move. She enjoys the flips and turns of gymnastics, the thrill of roller coaster rides, and the fun of the beach and boardwalk.
When it's time to eat, Jaylee's favorite comfort food is mac and cheese. Her favorite color, teal, reflects her bright and cheerful personality.
Jackson is an active and adventurous boy. He loves swimming, and his favorite stroke is freestyle. When he's not in the pool, you can find him riding his dirt bike, building forts, or practicing his bow and target shooting. In the winter, he enjoys skiing with his dad. He also loves playing with his friends.
Jackson's favorite book series is Diary of a Wimpy Kid, and his favorite color is green.
What I love about being on a swim team:
“Coach tarin, her family and the swim family are really nice and Toby is really funny and coach talia and Noah are very sweet. Coach tarin has coached me over the years to be the swimmer I am today. She goes over and beyond for our club and every kid in the pool helping them learn and grow and I am very thankful for her.”
Jackson
Carson
Carson is a first-grade swimmer who loves to compete in freestyle. When not in the pool, Carson enjoys building Lego creations, playing Minecraft, and reading about it. Carson's favorite food is cookie cake, and his favorite movie is Dog Man. With a love for the colors black and blue, Carson brings enthusiasm and creativity both in and out of the water!
Grayson is a dedicated 4th grader and an enthusiastic swimmer with a passion for the breaststroke. Outside of the pool, he loves playing sports like basketball and baseball, showcasing his competitive spirit. As a true Philadelphia sports fan, Grayson is always rooting for his local teams. When it comes to food, he can’t resist chicken, and his favorite movie is Space Jam: A New Legacy. Grayson’s favorite colors are red, blue, and green, reflecting his vibrant personality both in and out of the water.

Jameson
Jameson is a lively first grader with a love for swimming, especially freestyle, and he enjoys the excitement of swim meets. Outside the pool, he stays active by riding his bike and playing soccer and basketball. His favorite food is the delicious pizza at Seven Mile Pies, and he loves watching GI Joe. Jameson's favorite color is black, reflecting his cool and adventurous spirit.
Quinlan
Quinlan is an energetic boy who has always loved the water. He enjoys
swimming whenever he gets a chance. He is currently home schooled and in
the 4th grade. He takes gymnastics as well and enjoys video gaming at
home. He is part of the local 4H program too. Sushi is his favorite food
and he loves the colors red and blue. Minecraft is his favorite video
game. He likes to travel and so far cruises are his favorite vacations.
Luca is an energetic fourth-grade student at Middle Township Elementary. He has a passion for learning, especially in math and reading, where he enjoys challenging himself with new problems and exciting stories.
Outside the classroom, Luca is an avid baseball player who loves spending time on the field. He also enjoys traveling and exploring new places with his family. One of his favorite vacation activities is swimming, a skill he worked hard to master so he could spend more time in the pool. His favorite stroke is freestyle, which allows him to glide smoothly through the water. He is working on improving his technique with every swim.
Known for his chatty personality and great sense of humor, Luca loves making jokes and keeping those around him entertained. When it comes to food, nothing beats a plate of delicious lasagna, his absolute favorite meal. In his free time, he also enjoys watching movies, with Sonic the Hedgehog 2 being his top pick.
Whether he’s swimming laps, cracking jokes, or exploring new places, Luca approaches everything with enthusiasm and determination.

Alex
Alex is 7 years old. He is in a second grade. Alex’s favorite strokes are dolphin and backstroke. His interests include surfing, playing basketball and baseball, riding bikes and scooters. He has a deep affection for playing the piano and exploring new destinations. Barbecue and steak top his list of favorite foods. Home Alone is his go-to movie. Gold is his preferred color, and eagle is his favorite animal. Fun fact: he is bilingual.
